Is Mailie Pro free?
Yes. The free version is a complete email app: up to three accounts, search by meaning, OpenPGP and S/MIME, encrypted storage and connections, and no advertising. A Pro subscription adds the AI features, the file drawer and unlimited accounts. Every install starts with a 7-day trial of everything.
Does my email go to a server of yours, or to an AI service?
No. Your mail goes only between your phone and your mail provider. The AI features run on your phone, using the app's own models or Google's on-device Gemini Nano. We operate no mail server and no AI service.
Can the AI make mistakes?
Yes, any AI can. Mailie Pro keeps its results tied to your actual messages, links them to their source, and says when the answer is not in your mail. Check important details against the original message.
What does a Pro subscription include?
The Briefing, Ask your inbox, summaries, smart categories, suggested replies, help with writing, translation, phishing, scam and payment-details warnings, checks before you send, the file drawer, the Briefing on the widget, and more than three accounts.
How much does Pro cost?
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription sold by Google Play. The price is shown in Google Play for your country. You can cancel at any time in Google Play.
What happens when the trial ends?
The app continues as the free version. Nothing is charged and nothing needs to be cancelled. Your mail, accounts and encryption keys stay available.
Which email accounts can I use?
Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud, Fastmail, Zoho, Yandex and any provider that offers IMAP, POP3 or JMAP. Google and Microsoft accounts sign in on their own pages.
Does it work without Google services?
Yes, as an email app: your accounts, encryption, and push through IMAP, JMAP or UnifiedPush work without Google services. The AI models and subscriptions are delivered by Google Play, and document scanning needs Google Play services.
Do I need an account with Mailie Pro?
No. There is nothing to register. Your accounts are with your mail providers.
How do I move to a new phone?
Export an encrypted backup from Settings and restore it on the new phone. We never see the file or its passphrase.
